Humble Beginnings: The Story of SIGNASSIST

Established in 1994, our story began with a small but passionate local signage business known as Quick Cut Signs. Founded and operated by the grandparents of our current director, Shaun Slabbert, the company quickly became a trusted name in the community for quality and reliability.

In 1996, Shaun took over the family business, bringing a new energy and vision to the brand. Under his leadership, the company was rebranded to Compucut Signs, marking the start of an exciting period of innovation and expansion. What began as a local endeavour soon grew into an internationally recognised signage provider, building strong industry relationships and developing forward-thinking processes.

Today, we proudly enter a bold new chapter as SIGNASSIST, a name that reflects both our evolution and renewed dedication to the industry. While we continue to deliver world-class signage solutions, our focus has come full circle: supporting and empowering the local printing and signage industries with the same passion that sparked our journey.

From humble beginnings to global reach and now, a revitalised commitment to our roots, SIGNASSIST is here to assist, innovate, and lead in signage excellence.
